Vikki Bramshaw is an author specialising in pre-christian religion and esoteric traditions, and a priestess of initiatory witchcraft. Some of her passions are religious history, theurgy, initiatory rites, and trance.

Her first book, ‘Craft of the Wise: A Practical Guide’ was published in 2009 by O-Books, and she has since submitted several essays to Avalonia Books including ‘Swaying with the Serpent: A Study of the Serpent Girdled Hekate’, which featured in ‘Hekate: Her Sacred Fires’ in 2010, and ‘The Scorpion & the Bridal Bed’ which was featured in VS: Thou Art That – That Thou Art (Avalonia Books) in February 2011.

Vikki is already working on several other essays for publications due in 2011 and 2012, including a small book studying Greek mythology and religious history (Avalonia Books) and another complete book written independently by the author, which is due out in 2012.

Vikki also successfully completed several courses as part of her ongoing research, including The Origins of Human Behaviour with Oxford University. She is also a trained Holistic Healer with the Scottish Healing Association, and has studied counselling & transactional analysis with Peter Symonds College of Winchester.
